Founder & Director
We must strive to find our shared passions and interests; we must not divide by perceived differences. Tom brings this mantra to his personal and professional life. And, with The Study’s focus on women and minority-owned businesses, this could not be more important.
Thomas Foley practiced law for nearly two decades as general counsel and has experience as an operations director. Through his experience, Tom has a strong understanding of the legal landscape and business processes required for success. He is a strong advocate that passion and principles must guide business decisions and Tom brings his passion to drive gender and racial equity to The Study.
Tom understands that education is the key to success – and it is imperative to continually innovate our educational model. This idea has come to life through the introduction of disruptive educational models.
Tom is an adjunct professor at Paul Quinn College and North Lake College, where he teaches classes, including Social Entrepreneurship, Business Law, & Investor Relations and Capital Raising. Tom is also Of Counsel at Wright Connatser, a law-firm founded on the principle of social impact.
Entrepreneur in Residence
Jennifer is Fuse Solutions Inc’s Co-founder and CEO. With 20 years of leadership experience and unmatched capability to consistently deliver services in complex business operations, Jennifer and Fuse Solutions are a perfect match for the EIR role at The Study.
Jennifer and her team will maintain responsibility for the details around communications as well as oversee corporate relationship and program management.
Jennifer wears her passion for supporting small business, women in business, anything technology and entrepreneurship on her sleeve. The Study certainly welcomes Jennifer’s dedication and business acumen and looks forward to having Jennifer drive initiatives that support our efforts at fueling the expansion of entrepreneurship and creating jobs.
Jennifer is a mompreneur, married with a son, and enjoys each precious minute available to spend with her family.
Marketing and Communications
Lynne Braggs is the owner of Braggology, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Business, brings over 15 years of experience in marketing and sales management to The Study USA.
Braggology, a business and marketing consulting agency will be on-site to assist members of The Study USA with achieving their strategic goals. The agency employs brand-building techniques as a foundation to provide expertise in the areas of marketing, product launches, social media and project management.
As a resident of The Study USA, Lynne is ready to provide marketing and communication strategies to bring to life not only the mission and vision of The Study but also for its members.
Lynne holds an MBA with a concentration in marketing from the University of Texas in Austin and is also a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C where she majored in Chemical Engineering. She previously sat on the board of Gift of Adoption in Washington, DC and Women and Film and Television as VP of Communications in Atlanta, GA.
Jay, Fuse Solutions Inc’s co-founder, and COO, brings his 12 years of leadership, operational, entrepreneur, and hands-on service and product delivery experience to The Study. Jay has the talents and experience needed to help customers reduce their operational spending by identifying efficiencies and providing highly effective resources and strategies.
Jay maintains responsibility for the details around operations, as well as oversee corporate relationship and program management for The Study.
One of Jay’s greatest strengths is identifying efficiencies and developing creative support models that result in cost savings that can be passed on to the client. “That’s the way we have always done it” does not work for Jay. His findings may confirm that no changes need to be made, but he believes in re-evaluating processes and support models periodically and adjusting or automating as needed.
Jay holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Baylor University and is ITIL Foundations and HDI Support Center Manager certified. He and his wife Kara have one son and reside in Frisco, TX. Jay also enjoys attending Baylor University sporting events and participating in competitive automotive road racing.
